November 15 will be the inaugural event for Started UP, which is a workshop series designed to assist entrepreneurs with at least three years of revenue who are interested in taking their business to the next level.  In this inaugural event successful entrepreneurs and small business owners from a range of industries will discuss their journey.  The panel will also include funders who supported businesses through the growth period.  This session is to assist attendees think through the growth and expansion process. 

The event will feature a panel of experts from various industry sectors who have successfully transitioned their start up business into a larger enterprise.  Each of these entrepreneurs has faced both opportunities and challenges on their journey and will share with you what they have learned.  They will also discuss how they identified those members of the community (ie. Lenders, policy makers, suppliers, etc.) who assisted in the firm’s journey. 

Future Started UP events will focus on specifics of how to evaluate your firm’s readiness for growth as well as understanding how to prepare the documents necessary to attract lenders, investors, partners, etc.  Future events will also focus on understanding how to manage the managerial challenges of growth.
