In October we're focusing on entrepreneurs that have successfully raised funds and the pitch that got them there.
Confirmed speakers include:
Sarah Athanas is the co-founder and current owner of Groundwork, a coworking space in New Bedford. Prior to founding Groundwork, Sarah spent a considerable amount of time in South America, first to produce a documentary in the Patagonia region of Chile, and later as the Marketing Director for a language and travel firm with offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sarah returned to the United States as a freelance marketing consultant, and was inspired to create Groundwork after growing tired of working from home and out of coffee shops. Sarah is an avid surfer and serves on the board of Gnome Surf, a surf therapy organization. She is also a member of New Bedford's Regeneration Committee.
